Sylvia Smith Hart, 77, of Daphne, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018.
Mrs. Hart was a native of Canoe, Ala. and attended Canoe Public Elementary School and Escambia County High School in Atmore. She later earned a bachelor of arts degree with a double major in journalism and English from Samford University in Birmingham in 1962. Employed for more than 36 years by the Mobile Press-Register, she worked as a reporter, copy editor and page designer.
