Members of the 2018 Senior Class at Flomaton High School received awards and scholarships in the school auditorium honoring their hard work and dedication to education on Class Day last Friday, May 18.
Presenters handed out almost $3 million dollars in scholarships to students from the following entities: Flomaton Lions Club, Woodmen of the World, Rowland's Tire, Pepsi, D.W. McMillan, TrustMark Bank, Coastal Alabama Community College, Auburn University, Reid State, DAR Good Citizen, Distinguished Young Women, U.S. Army, Flomaton Research Club, Poarch Band of Creek Indians, Southern Pine Electric Co-op, Career Tech, Individual memorials and other college scholarships.
The top ten students are Anna Boatwright, Drew Welch, Alyssa Oglesbee, Tamera Dunn, Emily Turner, Shellie Harrelson, Monique Brown, Harmony Burgess, LeeAnne Lassiter and Brooklyn Roe.
