Sarah “Obie” Obera Redmon Cohen, 87, of Flomaton, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, in a Century nursing facility after a brief illness.
Mrs. Cohen was a native of Troy, Ala. and former resident of St. Pete, Fla. Before moving to Flomaton. She was a member of Little Escambia Baptist Church and a homemaker.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 7, at Little Escambia Baptsit Church with Rev. Jonathan Hill officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.
Mrs. Cohen is survived by one sister, Eleanor Lucas of Flomaton; and numerous nephews and nieces, Melissa Jernigan, Michelle Williamson, Darlene Lucas, Ashley Presley, Shaun Lucas, Patrissa Thompson, Shannon Lucas and Stevie Lucas.
