Grand jury indicts Andrews on six counts of distributing marijuana; facing prison

Conecuh County Commissioner Johnny Andrews has been indicted on six felony counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance stemming from his March 16, 2017 arrest accusing him of making at least six separate sales of marijuana.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall said his office's Criminal Trials Division presented the evidence to a Conecuh County grand jury last Tuesday and the indictments were returned the following day. Marshall said Andrews turned himself in at the Conecuh County Jail last Wednesday and was released on bond.
