U.S. Air Force Airman Mark E. Phillips, son of Kenneth Phillips and Jessica Phillips of Jay, Fla., graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Phillips is the step-son of Natasha Mercer-Voth and Scott Voth of Colorado Springs, Colo., brother of Dawn Phillips of Fargo, N.D. and husband of Madeleine Phillips.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
