Stolen cards lead to arrest

A Brewton man is facing charges in Brewton and Flomaton after allegedly burglarizing a shed in Brewton and using stolen credit cards to make purchases at Walmart in Brewton.

Dennis Wade Maddox, Jr., 29, 358 White Tail Lane, was arrested Monday in Brewton and charged with resisting arrest, providing a false name and fraudulent use of a credit card. He has also been charged by Flomaton police for burglary III and three counts of theft of property.

Flomaton Police Chief Bryan Davis said his office received a call Monday from Patrick Caylor with the Brewton Police Department about credit cards...
