Flomaton and Century fire departments held a control burn Monday morning at 1491 College St., in Flomaton to burn down a mobile home and a shed that had been declared a nuisance by the Flomaton Town Council. Fire Chief Steve Stanton said it not only erased an eyesore but gave firemen valuable training.
