Heavy rains that caused Murder Creek to rise to a point it wasn't safe for people to cross forced organizers of Saturday's Murder Creek Mud Run to be rerouted to keep participants from crossing the creek multiple times. The rerouted path was completed in the early hours Saturday but was still deemed a huge success as 490 runners from 21 states took to the woods and through the mud, starting and ending at O'Bannon Park.
