    An Atmore juvenile who allegedly told an acquaintance he had robbed a Walnut Hill store at gunpoint Dec. 7 was arrested Dec. 17 and now faces more robbery charges along with the acquaintance and a third person. Board of Education approved an e-learning day for students county-wide on Jan. 4, which means students will return to their classrooms on Wednesday, Jan. 5, not Tuesday like originally scheduled.     With the deadline to file property taxes looming, Escambia County (Ala.) Tax Collector Tim Pettis said as of Wednesday morning his office has collected about 60 percent of taxes that are due.     Escambia County High School graduate Ron Middleton was named the interim head coach of the New York Jets this past weekend after head coach Robert Saleh was out due to COVID-19.
