    The town of Jay mourns the loss of 25-year-old Eric Godfrey, who was electrocuted Monday, Nov. 11, while working in Yalobusha County, Miss. Godfrey was on a construction site in Oakland, Miss. and was laying a pipe underground when a machine made contact with an overhead power line, according to the Yalobusha County coroner.     A little more than a week after multiple shots were fired in the 400 block of 4th Avenue in Atmore, an Atmore resident was shot Saturday afternoon in what police say was a drive-by shooting.     Escambia County District Judge Eric Coale issued the oath of office to County Commissioners Raymond Wiggins and Brandon Smith Wednesday morning after the two were re-elected without opposition in the Nov. 5 General Election. Board of Education selected Board Member Coleman Wallace as board president and Kevin Hoomes unanimously as its vice president at its special annual meeting Monday, Nov. 4.
