    A Perdue Hill woman was jailed on $250,000 on charges of driving under the influence and assault I after hitting another vehicle head-on on Interstate 65 while driving the wrong way on the interstate. Earleen Williams McCall, 57, 47 Taylor Circle, was charged by state troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency following the Sept. 26 crash.     The Century Town Council held a special meeting Tuesday night to correct an error in the calculation of percentage of increase of the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 tentative millage rate of 0.9204, as compared to the rollback rate of 0.8853. Originally, the percentage of increase was over stated as 9.29 percent, instead of the corrected increase of 7.61 percent.     Atmore native Carl Madison was inducted into the Florida High School Athletic Association’s hall of fame last weekend. The legendary coach is second in all-time wins in the state of Florida with a 326-129-7 record.
