    The community of Flomaton and surrounding area is in mourning for 12-year-old Logan Mitchell, who lost his life in a four-wheeler accident this past Sunday, May 23.     Scott Hammond handed out his final diplomas last Thursday night as Principal of Flomaton High School ending a 27 year career at the helm of the Hurricanes having served the past 17 as the school's principal.     The Flomaton Police Department has added new officer to its force who will be used to detect drugs and track criminals and missing persons. His name is Boo and is a 5-year old female German Shepherd.
