    Escambia County (Ala.) Clerk-Administrator Tony Sanks will step down from that position he's held for the past 28-plus years with his final day on the job set for May 19.   • Swim coach is charged in 13 fraud claims

    A Brewton woman who serves as aquatics director and swim coach for the Brewton Area YMCA has been arrested on 13 felony counts charging her with fraudulent use of a credit card. Angel M. Boyd, 49, 4691 Kirkland Road, was arrested March 2 after being indicted by an Escambia County grand jury. She was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton and released the next day on $100,000 bond.     Moore Creek Mount Carmel Utilities officially opened its fourth water well at 3390 North Simmons Road and plans are to continue to add water capacity for customers in the Jay area.
