    Like most of us, we were watching and listening Sunday afternoon as storms roared through our area. If you were attempting to watch TV you got interrupted. This area dodged a bullet; but we can't say the same for the people in Lee County who got slammed with a tornado that claimed as many as 23 lives. The storm left total devastation in its path taking no prisoners. It left those who survived scrambling to not only put their lives back together but to simply survive.     After losing to Northview 6-1 at home Monday, Flomaton High School bounced back to defeat Central in Chumuckla 9-6 Tuesday night to move to 4-2 on the season. Flomaton will be back in action this Friday hosting the Jay Royals. The junior varsity will play at 4 p.m. followed by the varsity at 6 p.m. Flomaton will travel to J.U.     McHenry Coleman Sr. of Brewton has been named to the Dean's List of Mississippi College for Fall 2018. The Mississippi College Office of Academic Affairs releases the dean's list after the close of fall and spring semesters each academic year. To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must maintain a 3.5 grade point average, based on a 4.0 system.
