Matthew Stephen Cosey, 24, died Thursday, June 14, 2018, in East Brewton after an extended illness.
Mr. Cosey was born on Brewton and was a lifelong resident of this area. Employed as a tow truck driver, he attended Damascus Assembly of God Church.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 18, at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Min. Tamarcus Bailey and Pastor Michael Cosey officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery.
Mr. Cosey is survived by his father, Robert Glen Cosey of East Brewton; one brother, Michael Cosey of East Brewton; two sisters, Ashley (Jason) Thomas and Melissa Cosey, both of East Brewton; four grandparents, Roger and Polly Emmons of Milton and James and Carolyn Weaver of Mobile; and numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
Mr. Cosey was preceded in death by his mother, Vickie Ann Money Cosey.
