America- not good enough for Obama

Iconic liberal columnist of the New York Times, Maureen Dowd, recently penned a particularly amusing and poignantly enlightening column about our 44th President: “Obama – just too good for us.” Not for weak stomachs, her syrupy sycophantic worship of Obama in an incredibly ethereal platitudes is more than enough to make average Americans puke.

While Dowd seeks to extol and justify Obama as some pre-incarnate savior of the world, she inadvertently offers a fascinating candid insight into the liberal mindset. Her column could easily be dismissed as Democrat praise and leftist propaganda to prop up a failed presidency, but all should heed it as keenly instructive on how liberalism is totalitarian and at its core anti-American.

Her column is offered as a teaser for Obama advisor, Ben Rhodes, new book: “The world as it is” in which he tries to explain how the “hope and change” administration crashed with the catastrophic election of a base unqualified man, Donald Trump. Dowd deems Trump a “toon” taking a “chain saw to Obama’s legacy of policy and decency.” Many Americans cheer that chainsaw, but what policy or even decency can Obama stand on?

Obama’s overarching policy was to weaken and tame America so it could be submissively subsumed into the new world order. Obama disdains America as some colonial pirate exploiting the world, so he was content with anemic economic growth, backsliding morality, intense racial division, and slipping international influence. A strong America would never submit to globalism, but a stumbling feeble America would be ripe for globalization and a bland moral relativism where Americans had nothing to fight for.

Decency was replaced with being cool, hip, and nonchalant about leading the country into economic and moral stagnation. There is nothing decent about promoting abortion, inviting illegal immigrants into dangerous migrations, exacerbating every aspect of society as racist, advancing every perversion as normal, and abandoning men to die in Benghazi.

Dowd laments how “Obama found us wanting” and “we disappointed him” repeatedly. He told us the “right things to do,” but Americans disobeyed. Aside from the astoundingly arrogant accusation that the citizens are to blame not the leader, Dowd reveals that liberals yearn for an earthly leader they consider infallible and righteous. They want a benevolent king that will provide all their needs and security, so they can while away the days admiring art and enjoying cannabis. And anyone that dissents is a moron that can only atone by flinging themselves into a volcano.

In his book, Rhodes recounts Obama reflecting on the election: “What if we were wrong in being so right? What if we were too good for these people?” Dowd echoed that sentiment with “We were not ready for his amazing awesomeness.” BARF!

Note that Obama admits the election went against him, but it was not his fault. He still asserts his intellectual preeminence, but only regrets that he wasted his efforts and talents on undeserving people. As he said previously, those Americans bitterly clinging to their guns and bibles could never understand the socialist utopia he promised. In short, average Americans are too stupid to accept his supreme rule.

Obama further wondered if he was maybe 10 or 20 years too early. Dowd again agrees with “We were not enlightened enough for his momentous changes (by the smartest people in the world) or evolved enough for the first African-American president.” So not only are Americans dolts, they are also bigoted Neanderthals. Therein lies the touchstone of liberalism; they are sure they are smarter than everyone else including God. The see silly Christians as pointlessly believing they have God given rights and freedom, but liberals sigh with the certainty that only they can save humanity from itself. Only they can feed and house the masses and keep us from destroying our dying planet.

That is why liberals seek dictatorial powers. Shouldn’t we be ruled by the smartest among us? Don’t you want to save the earth? Then you must unquestionably submit to your liberal betters who consider it their destiny to control every aspect of society. Blinded by their perceived superiority, you cannot argue with them and compromise is impossible.

Dowd asserts that “Obama beat the odds to get elected.” Wrong. Americans beat the odds to elect him. Throughout our history, it has been average Americans that made America great not the custodians in the White House.

“But they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and the stubbornness of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward.” Jeremiah 7:24
