Carolyn Eloise Embley, 70, died Friday, June 1, 2018.
Mrs. Embley was a native of Mobile who had resided in Chickasaw for most of her adult life. She was active in the Celebrate Recovery with the Wilmer First Baptist Church.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. J.P. Lambeth officiating.
Mrs. Embley is survived by three nephews, Benjamin (Ginger) Godwin of Wilmer, Ala., and Doyle Johnson and Anthony Gene (Jennie) Embley, Jr. of Atmore; two nieces, Anita Catherine (Joey) Stephens of Wewahitchka, Fla. and Lacy Pope of Wilmer; four great-nephews; nine great-nieces; and numerous other family members and friends.
Mrs. Embley was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lonie Embley; one brother, Anthony Gene Embley, Sr.; and one sister, Anita Embley.
