Mearlene Bishop, 81, of Atmore, died Sunday May 6, 2018 in Atmore, Ala.
Mrs. Bishop was born Sept. 26, 1936 to Jesse M. and Fairy Traylor Stephenson in Albertville, Ala. She worked as a seamstress at Vanity Fair and was a member of The Church of the Living God.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Earl Harrison and Joe Welch officiating. Burial followed at Perdido Baptist Cemetery with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home directing.
