Mary E. Mattson, 86, of Atmore, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018 in Atmore.
Mrs. Mattson was born July 18, 1931 to Robert and Cora Faircloth Smith in Monroe County, Ala. A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of the Living God.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 27, at the Church of the Living God in Atmore with Bro. Earl Harrison officating. Burial will follow at Whitmire Cemetery in Pensacola with Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mattson is survived by three sons, Michael (Carolyn) Cook of Walnut Hill, Fla., Robert (Jean) Cook of Chicago and Paul (Nealia) Cook of Austin, Ark.; two daughters, Barbara Karcz of Chicago and Beverly Cook of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one sister, Rosie Jean Williams of Elberta, Ala.; and numerous other family members and friends.
Mrs. Mattson was preceded in death by her husband, James Mattson; and eight siblings.
