Drucilla Baggett Godwin

Drucilla Baggett Godwin, 92, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Montgomery, Ala.

Mrs. Godwin was born in Belleville, Ala. and had been a resident of Montgomery for the past 68 years. Working as a seamstress at Prattville Apparel for a number of years, where she retired from, she was a member of Hunter Station Baptist Church in Montgomery and enjoyed sewing.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 8, at Baggett's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Rusty Burnham and Speaker Terry Faulk officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Godwin is survived by two sons, Billy Joe (Joyce) Godwin of Montgomery and Paul (Angie) Godwin of Prattville; one daughter, Judy (Bud) Joiner of Montgomery; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Godwin was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Levi Godwin; her parents, Thomas Eugene and Martha Melissa Baggett; one brother, Mace Baggett; three sisters, Sophia Whitten, Pauline Oliver and Irene Stuckey; three grandchildren; and many other loved ones.
