Mary Lou Williams, 69, of Tensaw Community, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2018.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Baldwin County (Tensaw) Ala. A member of Little Zion United Methodist Church, where she served as the church secretary, Sunday School teacher, SPPP and church lay leader, she worked more than 40 years at Standard Furniture Company in Bay Minette.
A Celebration of Life was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 24, at Little Zion United Methodist Church with Revs. Norman Tinsley, Jr. and Leo Campbell officiating. Burial followed at Tensaw Memorial Gardens with Turner Funeral Chapel directing.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her children, Terria Williams of Marietta, Ga., Terry Williams of Stone Mountain, Ga., LuKindle (Charles) Smith of Tensaw and Samantha (Robert) Stevens of Bay Minette; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family member and friends.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Williams, Jr.; one daughter, Jackie Watson; her parents, Willie and Eliza Mae James; and one brother, Jimmie Lee Johnson.
