Jimmie Lee Mixon, 81, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018.
Mr. Mixon was born Feb. 6, 1936, to Bishop and Edna Mixon.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at First Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Revs. Willie A. Rudolph and Michael Jackson officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in McKenzie with Chrisitan Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Evergreen directing.
Mr. Mixon is survived by two brothers, Zeno (Dosha) Mixon of Miami and Marcella Walker; one sister, Etherine Salter of Miami; and numerous devoted nephews, nieces and other family members.
