Job Fair
The Brewton Career Center will host a Swift Lumber Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15. The Brewton Career Center is located at 1023 Douglas Ave, Brewton, Ala.
Available positions: are Millwright, Saw Filer, Laborer, Process Control Technician, with many openings available. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
Financial Workshops
The First United Methodist Church located at 820 Belleville Ave, in Brewton, Ala. will host the following workshops in the month of February. Registration by Feb. 17 for each workshop is appreciated. Door prizes will be given and childcare will be provided.
On Tuesday, Feb. 20: Wise Money Management Workshop from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The Workshop Topic will be Developing a Budget and Living Debt Free.
On Thursday, February 22, the Understanding Your Credit Score Workshop will be from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
On Tuesday, Feb. 27: Records and Important Papers Workshop from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27.
On Thursday, March 1: Wise Money Management Workshop from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The Workshop Topic will be Home Buying vs. Renting.
On Wednesday, Feb. 21, the Brewton Career Center, located at 1023 Douglas Ave., Suite 341 in Brewton, Alabama will host a workshop on Interviewing Skills and How to Dress Workshop at 10:00 am.
