    On April 9, 16-year old Daverick Williams was playing basketball in the old gymnasium at Flomaton High School when he collapsed. He had no pulse and he was not breathing.     The Century Town Council was the first to get on board by voting Monday night to spend $1,103 to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator for the Flomaton Fire Department as the department tries to replenish its supply of AEDs that are now about 13 years old.     Turtle Point Environmental Center will host an Open House from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this coming Saturday, April 21, to celebrate the re-opening of the boardwalk. There is no admission fee.
